Jul 1, Horror Movie Review of Within the Woods, prequel to The Evil Dead

Within the Woods is the first work of legendary Sam Raimi, and was created to win funding for the now-classic The Evil Dead. Oh, and be sure and read this review to the end for a special surprise.

I know. I know. I'm late putting this one out. Sorry about that. I had the grand pleasure of putting a new liner in the pool yesterday. What a crappy task THAT was. But we gots us a new one to listen to now. The intro by partner in crime Joe is just fan-damn-tastic ... again ... and it's part of the new contest that's announced in this show. Our theme song by Steve Cain will be a blastin' out your speakers or headphones and will lead us into the show. The "Zombie Novel Review" segment is on the strange as all get out Phillip Nutman novel "Wet Work". A new "Oh Yes They Are, Oh No They're Not" question is posted and y'all can join the fun on the Reel Horror forum. The continuation of Chapter 1 of Stephen A. North's "Beneath The Mask" is presented. The "Pus Filled Picture Pages" is again on "The Walking Dead" series. A new "Manic Minute" of a wonderful Troma release ... that's right ... I said WONDERFUL!! A new chapter of "Beginning of the Dead" called "Mike The Teacher" is read. Some cool stuff in the "Purtified Poetry" segment will be found. There's a new "Soundtrack Of Your Undead Life" on the new "Planet Terror" soundtrack will give you a good listen. We'll continue with TBE's most wonderful "Letters From The Dead". "Zombie Sites & Sounds" will visit a new zombie only forum called "Zombiephiles". The "Zombie Mailbag" is bursting at the seams and then we'll go out with a song ... honest ... I made damn sure it got attached this time. And DancingFred? ... this one's for you!! So ... open a few cold ones and get ready for Episode #14 or "Library of the Living Dead". I do so hope you enjoy.

Jun 30, BHM Horror Movie Review of Lets Scare Jessica to Death: What is delusional?

Lets Scare Jessica to Death may make you question what is delusional. Crazy or not, this one will satisfy your horror needs.

Jun 30, BHM Horror Movie Review of Slumber Party Massacre: You Know the Drill.

Slumber Party Massacre doesn’t waste valuable time with things like character development or sub-plot, leaving more time for breasts and gore.

SHADOW WALKERS

Okay, so we've all been here before. From the dim old days of Captain America all the way up to "28 Days Later", we've been watching as various government programs try to genetically design the latest and greatest superhuman killing...

Zombie-A-Bye-Bye

Well, it was bound to happen. I've just got too much going on in my life to keep this blog up. On one hand, that is sad, because zombies are fun and there's a lot of cool people associated with the genre that have made it a pleasure to be a part of it. On the other hand, it's a sign that I have a life, which is always nice. This was a hobby--just something I did for fun because I love the genre. I still love the genre, and I'll continue to watch the flicks, but I just haven't the time to update this--as can be seen.

I'll keep it up for reference, because I do think there's a lot of good stuff here (interviews, reviews, etc), and I'd like to thank the folks who've contributed their time and efforts to make ZAGG the blog it is/was. You know who you are. :)

I'd also like to thank everyone who's come here. Continue to fight the good zombie fight.

Cheers,
ZAGG
