Tales From The Crypt – Issue #1 (pub: Papercutz)

They’re baaaaaccccckkkkkkk!

That’s right, boils and ghouls. The Crypt Keeper has returned for more fun and frivolity in the comic book world. Let me be one to just shout out: Boo Yah! Issue number Uno has been brought to us by Papercutz. And well let me just say, it’s about frickin’ time, too.

This first issue brings us back all of the ghoulish and devilish fun that those of us of an age to remember, can sit back and enjoy the Pre Comics Code days with joy and a silly grin on our faces. Hey Ho Good Librarians. I hope you have plenty of time to give this episode a listen. I done went overboard again and then had to bite me a shark. Well, the shark part I made up, but this is an over 2 hour episode. There's a new intro by partner in crime Joe that hilarious. The song by Steve Cain is gettin quite popular too. I'll review the brain busting novel by Andre Duza called "Jesus Freaks", look at two of Eric S. Brown's short stories from his wonderful Permuted Press release "Madmen's Dreams". The Black Empty done up and gave us a new segment called "Letters From The Dead" and y'all will get your chance to send some of them in and have them read at "Library of the Living Dead" The "Pus Filled Picture Pages" starts on the hardcover editions of the excellent "Walking Dead" series. Another new segment has been added that will be a reading of Stephen A. North's new WPAN (That would be a Weird Post Apocalyptic Novel) "Beneath The Mask" ... it's gonna be a killer. We have new poems, a new chapter of "Beginning of the Dead" and a "Manic Minute" The "Zombie Flatulence Contest" will be played in all of it's disgusting glory and the winners will be announced. This one's a HOOT! A full as hell "Zombie Mailbag" is next and then we'll go out with a song requested by Good Librarian DancingFred. I sure do hope y'all have enough time to listend to this entire podcast. I figure by September we'll be 24/7. I gotta make an order to the beer guy. Hit play Good Librarian and let's get this party a started.
