The Poltergeist remake is in full swing with MGM bringing it to horror fans. Mixed feelings about this certainly, as Poltergeist is the film that cemented the (very realistic) fear that toy clowns come to life in the night and attack - they do! The involvement by Sam Raimi potentially helps the Poltergeist remake, but he is in the producer role - according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Road Tour, The Devil's Carnival Road Tour begins with a burlesque/freakshow element, namely contortionist Jared Rydelek who hilariously showcases his super-flexible body and proceeds to put his entire frame through a squash racquet and a tennis racquet, sometimes at the same time. This is followed by a video gift specifically for Repo! fans in the audience, namely behind-the-scenes footage from the production of Repo! itself. Following that is a video package of the winners of a contest in which people submitted video of their performances of this song from the short itself, “In All My Dreams I Drownâ€:

The makers of Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy, writer/director Daniel Farrands and producer Thommy Hutson, are at it again with a new documentary in their sights that takes a look at a franchise both of them have prior experience at chronicling: Friday the 13th. Panic Productions and Hutson Ranch Media have announced that they have begun filming on Crystal Lake Memories: The Complete History of Friday the 13th, a definitive documentary chronicling all 12 Friday the 13th films as well as the 80s television series the series spawned.

The cinematography, gore and story are above average, the film is generally enjoyable and keeps a fair interest level, the characters are sufficiently fleshed-out to be two-dimensional… the film is fine. Not fantastic, not terrible… it’s fine.
