The Wicker Tree is about two young Christians Beth and Steve, a gospel singer and her cowboy boyfriend, who leave Texas to preach door-to-door in Scotland . When, after initial abuse, they are welcomed with joy and elation to Tressock, the border fiefdom of Sir Lachlan Morrison, they assume their hosts simply want to hear more about Jesus. How innocent and wrong they are.
Robin Hardy directs The Wicker Tree and stars Christopher Lee, Graham McTavish and Honeysuckle Weeks.

Dec 27, ‘The Oregonian’ Trailer Full of Bizarre Sounds
December 27th, 2011 — From The Feeds
After watching the trailer for The Oregonian I can't get those bizarre sounds out of my head. The strange sounds almost put you in a trance like state, or maybe more of a psychedelic journey. The trailer is full of odd imagery and appears to be one of those artsy horror films. Thats not surprising since the director Calvin Reeder played in art-punk bands the Popular Shapes and the Intelligence.
Last year The Oregonian premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and if you missed it like most of us you will be able to catch the horror movie on VOD starting January 17, 2012.

Dec 26, The Darkest Hour Review
December 26th, 2011 — From The Feeds
The Darkest Hour has American heroes battling unseen fireball monsters. Although this film has theatrical release, straight to DVD would have been fine, too.
Sean (Emile Hirsch) and Ben (Max Minghella) are two buys who develop software in their spare time, and they’ve created an application that alerts travelers to the hot party spots in cities around the world. As soon as they get to Moscow and secure exclusive ability to report on Russian clubs and bars they will be billionaires overnight!.

These first four cards are a set- the buyer asked for a 4-card set featuring "the history of slashers", but what that meant was up to my interpretation. He listed a few movies he likes, but otherwise it was my choice. Sooo...I went for a theme within some of the landmark slasher flicks. I really had too many ideas, though, and my brain is wrestling with a bigger project.
For these next three (Texas Chain Saw, My Bloody Valentine, Halloween), the buyers wanted specific scenes.
